And a terminal tuned for your own eyeballs at arm's length is usually not the one that reads well at 1080p through video compression to someone on a phone. Why a camera-ready terminal is different

Font size and weight for legibility

Bump your font up — 16–20pt for streaming, even larger for a focused demo. Viewers can't lean in. Favor a font with a heavier weight and tall lowercase letters; thin, delicate typefaces are the first casualty of compression. Palettes that survive compression

On camera, less is more:

  • Add padding. Breathing room around the text makes the frame look composed rather than cramped.
  • Clean background. If you use transparency, keep it minimal — a busy desktop behind the glass is distracting on video.
